This summer we are focusing on the Maker Movement and including STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles. Some lessons will be science based, some art focused, others full of engineering concepts, all lessons will be filled with fun.

Sign ups for the Summer Reading Program start June 15th and run through July 7th. Sign ups are necessary to plan for the activities. Each child that signs up will receive a voucher from the Portland Sea Dogs game as part of their Summer Reading Challenge. The MSCL will again be teaming up with Barnes and Noble of Newington for their summer reading program. Each reader will receive a form from Barnes and Noble's Summer Reading Program. Fill it out and return it to the library. Your free book will be delivered to MSCL.

If your child is not in the 6-12 age group please visit us on Tuesdays at 11:30 for story time for our younger patrons. Teens please inquire about our Page to Screen reading group for ages 13-18. Adults, we have something for you too - for each book borrowed you are eligible for a chance at weekly prize. Let's get Lebanon reading!
